The shutdown of pure water equipment is likely related to common faults of the raw water pump

(1) The root cause of shutdown of pure water equipment. In all normal operations, the working pressure of the raw water pump suddenly decreases, and the total flow rate decreases. The key reasons are as follows:

1) Dirt is sucked into the pump and trapped on the centrifugal impeller of the water pump. Entering the gas, the vacuum pump of the water pump is destroyed.

2) The water level of the original water storage tank was too low and gas entered, causing the vacuum pump of the water pump to be damaged.

3) The centrifugal impeller of the water pump is loose.

4) Common faults of pump inlet and outlet valves or misoperation of fully automatic valves.

Rectification measures.

l) Check the original water storage tank level gauge, adjust the inlet and outlet water volume to raise the water level line.

2) Convert the raw water pump, repair common faulty water pumps, remove dirt from the centrifugal impeller or tighten the centrifugal impeller. For example, after a certain enterprise caused a shutdown and parking, it was discovered through analysis that the reason was that the working pressure of the raw water pump was normal when it was just started. When the inlet and outlet gate valves were enlarged, the working pressure decreased and the total flow rate could not be increased. Therefore, it was determined that there was dirt on the centrifugal impeller inside the pump. After checking the population of the water pump, two plastic blades of the motor rotor of the drinking water meter were taken from the centrifugal impeller. After repair and installation, the water pump was started, and the working pressure and total flow rate were all normal.
