At present, the price of hollow chemical fiber ultrafiltration membranes on the sales market is 150 yuan per square meter of total filtration area. Based on the calculation that 1.2 meters of ultrafiltration membrane filters 0.1 meters of water per hour, the price of 1 meter of 3/d ultrafiltration membrane is 60 yuan. According to the calculation of three years of application, the cost of dismantling and replacing the ultrafiltration membrane is only 0.057 yuan per cubic meter of water. Taking the 10000 m3/d ultrafiltration water treatment plant completed in Suzhou as an example, the basic construction cost is about 300 yuan/m3/d, and the operating cost is 0.078 yuan/m3, which is roughly the same as the original traditional handicraft of the water plant.
