Purified water produced by purified water equipment is used in industries such as pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals. But what are the basic standards for clean water quality? Both the Chinese Pharmacopoeia and the European Pharmacopoeia clearly state that the raw water for pharmaceutical use must at least meet the drinking water standards. If the standard is not met, it will be processed through evolution until it is met.
Characteristics of effluent quality
The effluent quality of the equipment meets the national hygiene standards and the actual production standards of the enterprise. The purified water from purified water equipment has two characteristics. One characteristic is that the number of disinfection equipment installed in purified water equipment is gradually increasing.
Another characteristic is the use of circulating pipelines instead of traditional water supply pipelines in the pipeline distribution system of purified water equipment, which can control microbial contamination and increase endotoxin levels. At the same time, attention should be paid to the impact of flow rate inside the pipe on microbial reproduction, that is, if the flow rate inside the pipe is too low or blocked, it may lead to an increase in microbial reproduction and affect water quality.
Selection of installation location for purified water equipment
1. The softened water equipment should be located as close as possible to the drainage pipe.
2. If other water treatment equipment is required, installation positions should be reserved.
3. Due to frequent salt addition in the salt tank, a salt discharge location should be set up.
4. Do not install the softened water equipment within a range of 3 meters from the boiler, otherwise hot water will flow back to the softened water equipment, causing damage.
5. Softening water equipment should be placed at room temperature below 1 ℃ and above 49 ℃.
Precautions for use
After long-term use of soft water equipment, preventive measures should be taken.
The inlet of the softened water equipment should be opened for a long time during use and only needs to be closed during equipment maintenance. If no water is needed, the outlet valve can be closed.
If the regeneration of the softened water equipment is incomplete and the effluent is unqualified, manual regeneration can be carried out.
When the softened water equipment is out of service for a long time, saltwater should be sucked into the tank for protection.
When putting it back into use again, just prepare the same salt water as normal operation. Restart the power supply of the purified water equipment and manually turn on the power. Then, the outlet valve can be opened.
If the industrial salt used is too dirty, the salt bucket should be cleaned annually to ensure the smooth process of salt absorption.
