The Reasons for Scaling in Ultra Pure Water Equipment - Pure Water Equipment - Jiajie - Jiajie Pure Water Equipment Manufacturer

Many businesses also have the same feeling when using ultrapure water equipment. After using the equipment for a period of time, the water production decreases, the water quality deteriorates, and the amount of wastewater increases accordingly. So what is the reason?

As we all know, after using ultra pure water equipment for a period of time, the production of reverse osmosis machines decreases, water quality deteriorates, and wastewater increases mainly due to pollution and blockage of the filtration system. Firstly, after the reverse osmosis membrane is put into use, it will be contaminated by impurities in the water. Due to differences in water quality and pretreatment processes, the pollutants in reverse osmosis membranes may vary from place to place. The scaling rate has been reduced, the complexity of scaling has been reduced, and the reasons for scaling are as follows.

1: Colloid blockage is a common phenomenon. Both groundwater and surface water contain iron aluminum colloids, silica colloids, organic colloids, coagulants, coagulants, scale inhibitors, etc. These colloids can deposit on the surface of the membrane, forming colloidal contamination.

2: The front end often experiences particle dirt blockage. The main reason is that the new system was not cleaned thoroughly during operation, and corrosive debris such as fine sand passed through. The micrometer level filter element adopts a winding type, which causes the fuzz to fall off and the working pressure difference to be high, causing the diaphragm at the edge of the membrane to fall off and block before the next membrane. The pressure drop increases and the output decreases. The permeability of membrane fouling is mainly manifested as an increase in pressure difference, a decrease in yield, and a decrease in desalination rate.

3: If a large amount of pollutants are attached to the reverse osmosis membrane and not cleaned in time, the longer the equipment is used, the greater the loss of the reverse osmosis membrane itself. When the water production of ultra pure water equipment during operation is less than the specified 10% to 15%, the pressure difference increases by about 10% compared to the standard pressure difference, the desalination rate is lower than or higher than the standard system desalination rate, and the filtration system is contaminated or blocked.

Therefore, when the above situation occurs, it is necessary to flush the pollutants on the sand filtration system, carbon filtration system, security filter, and reverse osmosis membrane of the ultra pure water equipment.

This is when cleaning the pollutants in the filtration system of ultrapure water equipment. I hope it will be helpful to you. The reverse osmosis membrane needs to be cleaned in a timely manner, otherwise it will affect the performance, service life, and water quality of the reverse osmosis membrane.
