In long-term storage, strong resins should be transformed into salt type, while weak resins can be transformed into relative hydrogen type or dispersed alkali type, which can also become salt type, and then soak in clean water. During the entire storage or transportation process, the resin should be maintained in a natural environment at a temperature of 5-40C to prevent low or excessive temperatures that may harm its quality. If there is no thermal insulation equipment in winter, the resin can be stored in edible salt water, and the temperature of the salt water can be determined based on the average temperature.

Resin is just a purification method, and it doesn't depend on the situation. The removal of positive ions by resin is actually quite effective. Household equipment does not require resin, and industrial water purifiers generally use it. It is generally better not to use resin because water purifiers filter through membranes, which immediately remove positive ions. The basic principle of resin is ion exchange, so there is no need for resin.

Food grade stainless steel softening resin is generally used for drinking water treatment. If the hardness of some tap water is too high, it will be applied to softening resin. The main source of water hardness is calcium and aluminum ions in the water. Softening resin can absorb these two positive ions and treat water into softened water. Food grade stainless steel softening resin has good environmental hygiene and can produce water that can be consumed immediately. Famous brands of water purifiers such as Meili and Xiaomi phones also use food grade stainless steel softening resin.

Industrial grade softened resin is mainly used in industrial production industries. If the strength of tap water in industrial production is too high, it is likely to cause dirt in machinery and equipment, which can harm the characteristics of such machinery and equipment. Industrial grade softened resin can reasonably avoid the cause of dirt and can also be used to solve chemical wastewater.

In many electronic industries, there are high regulations on the electrical resistivity of water. Therefore, resin manufacturers have produced a type of ultra pure water system resin for this situation. The water quality of ultra pure water system resin is very high, and the resistance can reach 18 megaohms or above. Ultra pure water system resin is a ready to use resin composed of suspected gel type strong alkali cation exchange resin and strong acid cation exchange resin, and has been pre mixed. The water resistivity of the produced water can generally reach 18 megaohms or above, usually placed at the end of the ultra pure water system. This type of resin is rarely used in pure water equipment and is generally applied in ultra pure water equipment.
