1. Prepare special tools in advance

Use a wrench, pointed pliers, liquid bucket, scissors or knife to cut.

2. Common issues

During the entire installation/replacement process, efforts should be made to minimize the involvement of other pipelines to prevent water seepage.

3. RO membrane replacement process

Turn off the electroplating process gate valve and wait for 10 minutes up and down. (Let the system software relieve pressure), use your hands or special tools to unscrew the screw cap connector on the right side of the membrane housing, and pull out the water pipe. To deal with the equipment, use your right hand to hold the membrane housing tightly, and use your left hand to forcefully open the outer cover of the tail. If the built-in activated carbon filter on top of the reverse osmosis membrane tube hinders the actual operation of this process, it can be slightly moved or completely removed. If it is completely removed, the additional pipeline needs to be dismantled. Close the pressure tank gate valve, unscrew the screw cap connector on its top with hand or special tools, and guide the water pipe into an empty bucket or stainless steel washing sink. Hold the reverse osmosis membrane tube tightly with your right hand, then pinch the old reverse osmosis membrane with pointed nose pliers and forcefully pull it out of the membrane shell.

Open the new envelope of the reverse osmosis membrane and remove it. Insert the reverse osmosis membrane from Xinkaifeng City into the reverse osmosis membrane tube until one side of two gray black small circles reaches the bottom of the membrane shell. Tighten the membrane shell cover in the same posture as turning it open. If necessary, adjust the connector in a clockwise (clamped) direction to tilt towards the rear of the device side. Insert the water pipe and tighten the connecting screw cap. (Remember not to forget to place the pipe plug). Open the electroplating process gate valve. After running the equipment for about two hours and allowing the system software to enter all normal water production conditions, connect the water pipe to the pressure tank gate valve and open the pressure tank gate valve.

Why does reverse osmosis pure water equipment require drainage?

The entire process of reverse osmosis membrane operation is actually a liquid extraction process, and the salt content in the water continuously increases as it flows through the surface of the reverse osmosis membrane. The plasma osmotic pressure of the water also continues to increase. When the plasma osmotic pressure increases to the working pressure of the booster pump, water cannot be injected into the purified water side through the reverse osmosis membrane.
