What are the determining factors for the desalination rate of RO reverse osmosis equipment- Pure Water Equipment - Jiajie - Jiajie Pure Water Equipment Manufacturer


There are two important factors in the production and manufacturing of purified water using RO reverse osmosis equipment. One is a selective membrane, commonly known as a semi permeable membrane, and the other is a certain working pressure. Simply put, there are many pores on the reverse osmosis semi permeable membrane, and the size of these pores is very similar to that of water molecules. Because bacteria, viral infections, the vast majority of organic chemical air pollutants, and hydrated ions are much larger than water, they cannot be separated from the water passing through the reverse osmosis semi permeable membrane. Among various residues in water, soluble acid salts are difficult to eliminate. Therefore, the actual effect of reverse osmosis water purification is often determined based on the desalination rate. The key decision to determine the desalination rate of reverse osmosis equipment is the selectivity of the reverse osmosis semi permeable membrane. At present, the desalination rate of reverse osmosis membrane components with higher selectivity can reach 99.7%.

Cleaning of RO reverse osmosis equipment membranes:

1. Use a pump to pump clean, chlorine free reverse osmosis product water from the cleaning tank (or corresponding water resources) into a pressure vessel and discharge for a few minutes.

2. Prepare cleaning solution in the cleaning box with clean product water.

3. Cycle the cleaning solution in the pressure vessel for 1 hour or a pre-set time. For 5.5 inch or 8.5 inch pressure vessels, the water flow rate is 35-40 gallons per minute (133-151 liters per minute), for 6 inch pressure vessels, the water flow rate is 15-20 gallons per minute (57-76 liters per minute), and for 4 inch pressure vessels, the water flow rate is 9-10 gallons per minute (34-38 liters per minute)

4. After cleaning, clear the cleaning box and carry out cleaning, then fill the cleaning box with clean product water for the next step of cleaning.

5. Use a pump to pump clean, chlorine free commercial water from the cleaning tank (or corresponding water resources) into a pressure vessel and discharge for a few minutes.

6. After cleaning the reverse osmosis equipment system software, run the reverse osmosis system software with the commercial water discharge valve open until the commercial water is cleaned and there is no foam plastic or cleaning agent (generally 15~30 minutes).
