When many functional groups on the resin fuse with calcium and magnesium ions, the resin's ability to soften and work decreases. A sodium chloride solution can be used to pass through the resin. At this time, the potassium ion composition in the aqueous solution is high, and the functional groups will release calcium and magnesium ions, which will fuse with potassium ions. In this way, the resin will repair its ability to exchange work. This process is called "reconstruction".
Due to the necessity of specific work, the standardized work content of softened water equipment includes five key processes: during work (sometimes referred to as water production, the same), softener, salt absorption (reconstruction), washing, and salt tank filling:
Softener: There are two key functions: first, to loosen the resin layer, allowing sufficient contact between the salt solution and the resin layer, making the displacement reaction more complete; second, to clean the suspended solids blocked by the resin, which usually takes about 5-15 minutes.
Salt absorption (reconstruction): The process of introducing salt water into the resin storage tank. Traditional machine equipment uses a salt pump to introduce salt water, while automatic machine equipment uses a specialized embedded atomizing nozzle to suck salt water in (as long as there is a certain working pressure for water seepage). In the specific work process, the regeneration effect of salt water passing through the resin at a relatively slow rate is very good compared to simply soaking the resin with salt water. Therefore, all softened water equipment is reconstructed by using salt water slowly passing through the resin. This process usually takes about 60 minutes, and the specific time is the harm of using salt.
Positive washing: In order to completely clean and tidy up the residual salt, it is necessary to choose a flow rate that is close to the specific work, and clean the resin with source water. The effluent from this process should be qualified softened water. Under normal circumstances, the fast cleaning process takes 5-15 minutes.
