If they are not magnetic, they consider them to be good and worth the money; If the inhaler has magnetism, it is considered a counterfeit. There are various types of water treatment equipment, and the room temperature state can be divided into several types according to the organizational structure:

b. Martensitic or ferritic type: such as 430, 420, 410, etc;
Austenite is non-magnetic or weakly magnetic, while martensite or ferrite is magnetic.
Most water treatment equipment used as decorative tube plates is made of austenitic 304 material, which is generally non-magnetic or weakly magnetic. However, due to fluctuations in composition caused by smelters or different production and processing conditions, magnetism is also likely to occur. However, this cannot be considered as counterfeit or substandard. What is the reason for this?
As mentioned above, austenite is non-magnetic or weakly magnetic, while martensite or ferrite is magnetic. Due to the shrinkage of components or carelessness in heat during smelting, small amounts of martensite or ferrite structures can occur in austenitic 304 water treatment equipment. In that way, the 304 water treatment equipment will contain very weak magnetism.
In addition, the 304 water treatment equipment undergoes cold drawing, and the organizational structure also undergoes martensitic transformation. The larger the cold drawing deformation value, the more martensitic transformation occurs, and the greater the magnetic properties of the steel. Like a batch of strip steel, produced and manufactured Φ 76 tubes, without significant magnetic induction, production and manufacturing Φ 9.5 Tube. Due to the significant deformation caused by cold bending, the magnetic induction is more significant. In the production and manufacturing of square and rectangular pipes, the volume amplification of circular steel pipes is greater due to the deformation, especially in the folded part, where the deformation is more intense and the magnetic induction is more significant.
To completely eliminate the magnetism of 304 steel caused by the above reasons, it is possible to repair the stable austenite structure through high-temperature aging treatment, thereby eliminating magnetism.
It is particularly important to clarify that the magnetism of 304 water treatment equipment caused by the upper edge is not of the same level as that of other materials such as 430 and carbon steel. In other words, the magnetism of 304 steel indicates weak magnetism from beginning to end.
This informs everyone that if the water treatment equipment has weak magnetism or no magnetism at all, it should be distinguished as 304 or 316 material; If the magnetism is the same as that of carbon steel, it indicates strong magnetism, as it is not identified as 304 material.
