a. When designing the RO system, there should be a comprehensive analysis of the water body. If there are periodic changes in water bodies (very common in groundwater) or changes in water sources (very common in municipal engineering power supply), try to obtain all the analytical data you can obtain and determine that they originate from new raw materials.

b. Conduct a 15 minute SDI (Relative Density Index of Environmental Pollution) experiment on the spot to determine the probability of colloidal solution pollution blockage.

f. The utilization rate should be set at a more traditional value to reduce the concentration of pollutants.

g. A traditional design should strive to improve the horizontal flow velocity of seepage and the flow velocity of concentrated water as much as possible. The higher the horizontal flow velocity, the faster the diffusion rate of membrane surface salinity and pollutants towards the aqueous solution of the behavior subject. Therefore, it can reduce the concentration values of membrane surface salinity and pollutants.

h. Select suitable types of membrane components for different application scenarios. Sometimes, when solving difficult groundwater and chemical wastewater sources, using charge balanced CAB (cellulose ester) membrane components is better than using negatively charged CPA (acrylic resin composite) membrane components.

e. Research whether there are RO reverse osmosis systems using the same seepage water source in your area.
