1. Chemical precipitation method
Add heavy metal ions such as sodium thiosulfate contained in electroplating wastewater to coagulants such as caustic soda or lime slurry, then add a mixing agent for mixing, and then react under certain conditions to generate precipitation and deposit to the bottom. The metal ion content in the treated electroplating wastewater has exceeded the scope of environmental protection standards, achieving the best application effect.
2. Activated carbon adsorption method
Extract impurities from electroplating wastewater through filtration and other methods, and then add activated carbon with a particle size of 0.5-1.5 millimeters to a cylindrical adsorption column. Utilize existing fluidity techniques to purify electroplating wastewater into cleaner water through the activated carbon column.
3. Electrolysis method
Electroplating wastewater is chemically transformed between electrode plates by electrolysis, producing electrolyte solutions, redox reactions, and other reactions, thereby putting the wastewater in a photocatalytic state, removing various harmful substances from the wastewater, and obtaining a relatively clean water body. This type of method often combines the technical form of photocatalytic heavy metal pollution control, which can achieve better application results.
The above three methods are common purification methods currently used in the audit of electroplating industry production wastewater. Different types of methods have unique characteristics and are applicable under different conditions. But regardless of which method is used, the only goal is to promote more thorough purification of wastewater, in order to achieve the effect of reducing air pollution levels.
