Some pure water equipment is filtered through resin, and like other filters, they must be replaced after being used for a long time to ensure the stability of subsequent work. So how to replace the softened water resin of pure water equipment?

1、 Replacement process

1. First, check if the pure water equipment can operate normally. If there is any damage to the control board, it is easy to replace it with new resin and ensure that everything is working properly and applied normally.

If everything is normal, turn off the power switch. Before replacing the resin, open the softener on the softener of the softener water machine equipment and provide sufficient softeners to loosen the compacted resin in the resin bucket.

3. Open the inlet and outlet of the pressure regulating valve, remove the sewage pipe and salt suction pipe, and unscrew the pressure regulating valve of the softened water equipment. A resin barrel with a diameter of less than 400 can be immediately leveled and the resin poured out. A resin barrel with a diameter of around 400 can be extracted using a vacuum pump siphon method.

4. Fix the management center pipe firmly and seal it with adhesive tape (to prevent quartz sand and resin from entering the elevator pipe). Gradually place the resolved resin around the management center pipe into the resin tank. Install the pressure regulating valve back into the resin bucket, connect the inlet and outlet, sewage pipe, and salt suction pipe.

5. Open the water outlet gate valve and gradually open it.

6. Take softened water from the sampling port for inspection and pass the test

2、 Replacement cycle

The replacement cycle time is generally around 8-24 months during normal use.

3、 Precautions

If there is a resin filter element in your water purifier, we suggest that you do not need to replace it yourself. As resin filter cartridges can generally be reused, it is suggested to contact the store.

2. If it is the resin filter element of the water softener, you can choose a special type of non iodized salt (water softener salt) for the water softener and pour it in.
