Environmental pollution caused by colloidal solutions of organic compounds in the inflow of pure water system
The pure water system uses disc filtration, ultrafiltration membrane, and reverse osmosis to produce water that enters the EDI pure water system, especially for system software with surface water as water resources, because the river treatment capacity of disc filtration is only 50-100um. The residue above is intercepted and removed. At present, the interception of suspended solids by ultrafiltration membranes is between 0% and 30%. For organic compounds and colloidal solutions, only organic chemical colloidal solutions with a relative content of 50000-100000 can be removed. For organic chemical colloidal solutions with a relative content less than 0oo, they can enter the reverse osmosis system software, and reverse osmosis can only remove organic compound colloidal solutions with a relative content exceeding 200. Samples with a content less than 200 are fed into the EDI system software. These low content chemicals are adsorbed onto the mesh of the frame and the surface of the anion and cation membranes by the anion and cation exchange epoxy resin inside the components, blocking the displacement reaction of anions and cations and the rate of positive ions passing through the anion and cation membranes in water. This leads to a decrease in the characteristics of EDI operation and a decrease in the electrical resistivity of the produced water.
