What is the reason for the discharge of extreme water from EDI equipment- Pure Water Equipment - Jiajie - Jiajie Pure Water Equipment Manufacturer

During normal operation of EDI equipment, there is an electrolytic reaction in the electrical room of the components, which can cause different vapors depending on the type of electrolyte solution, metal electrodes, and current intensity. In the EDI component, NaCl aqueous solution is added to the concentrated water, and on anodic oxidation, CO2 and hydrogen are released electrically. On negative electrode reaction, radon gas is released, and its electrolysis reaction is held down

Anodization reaction: 2Cl -+2e=Cl24OH -+4e=2H2O+O2

Negative electrode reflection: 2H++2e=H2

The reflection causes the vapor to adhere to the surface of the electric stage, creating a vapor layer that inhibits the further development of the electrolysis reaction. Therefore, it is necessary to flush the vapor on the surface of the electric level chamber through the drainage pipeline at the upper end. In EDI processing technology, it is called extreme water discharge, and the consumption is generally controlled at 5%~2%. The discharge outlet must be at a height to width ratio less than the component, and it is discharged under negative pressure.

Because in the production and manufacturing operation, the extreme water discharge of the component will eventually break, but it cannot be detected on the main pipe, which will increase the conductivity of the produced water of the component and reduce the water resistance value of the total output value.
