The common water purification equipment includes two categories: reverse osmosis equipment and ultrafiltration equipment. The key components of both are membrane components, which use membranes to solve impurities in water. So, what are the differences between these two machines and equipment? Firstly, the diameter specification of Dow reverse osmosis membrane is 0.01nm, while the diameter specification of RO reverse osmosis membrane is generally 1/100 of Dow reverse osmosis membrane, and the diameter of RO reverse osmosis membrane is 0.0001nm. Therefore, reverse osmosis equipment can remove all impurities in water, including excessive heavy metals, fertilizers, chloroform, etc., leaving only water behind. And ultrafiltration equipment can only remove large particulate air pollutants or bacteria.

Secondly, the testing standards and effluent quality of the health administrative department are different. For ultrafiltration equipment, according to the "general water quality CPU" standard, the total bacterial count is 100/mL, while for reverse osmosis water purifiers, it is 20/mL, which is very strict. Therefore, the effluent quality of RO reverse osmosis is better than that of ultrafiltration membrane.

Reverse osmosis equipment

Advantages: The water quality is very safe, the reverse osmosis equipment can remove all impurities in the water, and the water taste is relatively good.

Defects: The price is relatively expensive, and the pump and power consumption are high. And it is caused by sewage, with a higher probability of common faults and water seepage.

Ultrafiltration equipment

Advantages: Generally more cost-effective, no need for pumps, no power consumption, fewer connectors, and low equipment failure rate.

Defects: Impurities cannot be completely removed from the water, scale cannot be removed, only suitable for the application of water resources with good water quality.
