In order to ensure the reliable operation of RO reverse osmosis equipment and to facilitate supervision throughout the entire operation process, necessary instrument panels and control systems should be installed. Generally, the necessary meters to be installed include temperature gauges, pressure gauges, flow meters, pH meters, conductivity meters, etc. The installation location and functions are described as follows:

(1) Barometer

A water supply pressure gauge, a RO reverse osmosis equipment outlet pressure gauge, and a drainage pipeline pressure gauge are used to calculate the loss of each section (differential pressure gauge can also be installed), and to standardize the water production rate and desalination permeability.

When the loss reaches a certain value (2kg/cm2), the filter element must be replaced with an inlet pressure gauge and an outlet pressure gauge (or a differential pressure gauge can be installed) of the 5U filtration device.

The inlet and outlet pressure controllers of the centrifugal pump are equipped with high pressure alarms at the outlet and bottom pressure alarms at the inlet to stop the pump.

(2) Flow meter

The function of a commodity water flow meter is to monitor the water production rate during operation. Each section is independently installed for easy "standardization" proofreading. The water output of the product should be labeled, totaled, and recorded.

The concentrated water flow meter is used to monitor the emission during operation. The amount of concentrated water should be labeled, totaled, and recorded.

(3) Conductivity meter

The conductivity meter for water supply and drainage and the conductivity meter for water production of reverse osmosis equipment are equipped with labeling, recording, and high limit alarm functions.
