Ultra pure water equipment is a water treatment equipment that uses pre-treatment, reverse osmosis technology, ultra purification treatment, and post-treatment methods to basically remove conductive media from water, and remove undissolved colloidal substances, gases, and organic matter to a very low level. The desalination component of the ultra pure water system equipment is an imported reverse osmosis membrane component. Ultra pure water system equipment usually consists of a pre-treatment section, a reverse osmosis host section, and a post-treatment section.

Ultra pure water system:

1. Preprocessing

The pre-treatment process consists of quartz sand filters, activated carbon filters, automatic water softeners, and precision filters (our company adopts fully automatic regulating valve heads). Ultrafiltration systems can also be used for pre-treatment, but the engineering cost is usually high. The main purpose of pre-treatment is to remove sediment, rust, colloidal substances, suspended solids, chromaticity, odor, and biochemical organic matter from the raw water. When the hardness of the raw water is high, an automatic water softener can be selected to better protect the reverse osmosis membrane and extend its service life.

2. Reverse osmosis treatment:

The host of the ultra pure water equipment mainly consists of a high-pressure pump, membrane shell, reverse osmosis membrane components, online instruments, control power supply, etc. As long as the number of membranes and pump selection are appropriate, the desalination rate and water production of the RO host can reach the rated indicators, and the effluent conductivity can be maintained to be less than or equal to 10us. Cm (raw water conductivity less than 500us/cm, working temperature 1-40 ℃)

3. Purified water treatment

In the post-treatment section, the pure water generated by reverse osmosis is further treated to produce ultrapure water, usually using ion exchange mixed bed equipment or EDI equipment. According to user requirements, the water outlet resistance can reach 18.2m Ω Cm, if used for direct drinking water technology, can be equipped with some devices, usually ultraviolet or ozone generators, to make the water meet the standard for direct drinking water.

When the TDS of the raw water is less than 300ppm, a first stage ultra pure water equipment can be used for EDI pretreatment, and the pH value of the reverse osmosis influent should be controlled between 8.0 and 8.5. Sodium hydroxide can be added to the reverse osmosis inlet water, or alkali can be added to regulate the inlet water P. At the same time, attention should be paid to the LSI value of the reverse osmosis concentrate to prevent scaling on the reverse osmosis concentrate side
