Can reverse osmosis purified water equipment remove chlorine- Pure Water Equipment - Jiajie - Jiajie Pure Water Equipment Manufacturer

Generally, in people's daily life or industrial production, if fluoride ions in water exceed the standard, it has a significant impact. If the fluorine content in water is 1.2mg/l, the water quality is called superfluorinated water. If people use perfluorinated water, their bones and teeth will be affected, and other soft tissues will also be damaged. In order to prevent people from being harmed by fluoride in their daily lives, reverse osmosis purified water equipment can be used for defluorination, as this equipment has a strong defluorination effect.

The principle of fluoride removal in reverse osmosis purified water equipment is the same as other impurities. Reverse osmosis is a physical treatment method. As long as the pore size of impurities is larger than that of the reverse osmosis membrane, they can be separated and removed. According to experimental measurements, fluoride ions can be removed. The main separation object of reverse osmosis membranes is inorganic ions above 1nm.

The applied pressure is opposite to the osmotic pressure, exceeding the osmotic pressure, causing the water in the concentrated solution to reverse permeate to the side of the dilute solution. Due to the effective processing range of the reverse osmosis membrane being greater than 0.1nm and the F-ion diameter being 0.266nm, the use of reverse osmosis pressure can effectively remove fluoride ions from the solution.

After 10mg/L of water passes through the reverse osmosis membrane, the removal rate of fluoride ions reaches about 90%. The allowable concentration of fluoride ions in general drinking water standards is 0.5-1.5mg/L, which should be lower than this standard in China.

In recent years, with the maturity of reverse osmosis purified water equipment technology, reverse osmosis has gained many advantages in terms of price. Due to the fact that most of the fluoride ions in groundwater come from the erosion and dissolution of surrounding rocks, water contains a large amount of soluble ions, and the influence of other molecules on the fluoride removal effect needs to be considered. However, compared to other methods, reverse osmosis is a simple and effective method.
