How to choose the appropriate purified water equipment?
1: Look at the demand
The prices of purified water equipment for different raw materials and purposes also vary. Before purchasing, it is important to consider your own situation and choose the one that suits you, whether it is for ordinary household use, enterprise business use, or pharmaceutical industry use? Should we preserve minerals or affirm purified water? The hardness of water quality in the local area and other factors need to be considered.
If you want to preserve minerals, you should choose an ultrafiltration model.
If you want water to be clean, you can choose a pure water machine, which is a reverse osmosis model.
2: Check qualifications
How important are qualifications? Let's not go into too much detail here. Let's list below what qualifications are required for a qualified purified water equipment?
1. National Drinking Water Hygiene Product Hygiene License
2. Patent certificate (certified by the National Patent Office)
3. ISO Quality Management Certification System
4. CCC certification
5. AAA certification
6. Verification statement (for relevant statements on water quality testing, provide a reference: Puni testing statement)
7. Trademark registration certificate, tax certificate, and business license are also expressions of a company's value.
3: Look at the raw materials
Currently, there are materials available in the market such as stainless steel, fiberglass, cast iron, aluminum grade, food grade resins, or PVC.
The first three types belong to raw materials with good compressive strength, which can be used as pre filters (central machines).
The latter two types of raw materials, which are classified as having poor compressive strength, can only be used at the back end of the pre filter (central machine) for use in direct drinking machines.
Among these raw materials, stainless steel is the main material for compressive and corrosion resistance. The price is also relatively high. Food grade resins or PVC have poor compressive strength and relatively low prices.
4: Viewing membrane technology
The process and skills of the membrane determine the purification ability of the membrane, which is also the purification ability of the water purifier. Nowadays, the global reverse osmosis RO membrane is a hollow fiber reverse osmosis membrane produced by Japan's Japanese textile company, which has monopolized the global market for nearly 20 years.
According to the membrane process, water purifiers on the market are divided into ultrafiltration membrane water purifiers, nanofiltration membrane water purifiers, and RO membrane (i.e. reverse osmosis membrane) water purifiers. RO membrane water purifiers are water purifiers with purification accuracy.
The above table shows the existing water filtration methods on the market. Microfiltration and ultrafiltration can only filter out large volumes of harmful substances such as rust, sediment, residual chlorine, odors, and macromolecular organic matter. However, reverse osmosis (RO filtration) can filter out almost all pollutants.
5: Check the after-sales service
After long-term use of purified water equipment, many consumables need to be replaced or cleaned. When purchasing, it is necessary to inquire with the seller for detailed after-sales procedures and shelf life.
In addition to the above points, consumers should also conduct comprehensive investigations from various aspects such as type and electricity consumption.
