What is the difference between pure water, purified water, soft water, and hard water- Pure Water Equipment - Jiajie - Jiajie Pure Water Equipment Manufacturer

The water quality is getting worse and worse, and at the same time, people's attention to health is becoming increasingly close. So many users choose to install a water purifier in their homes - during the process of buying a water purifier, they will hear many professional terms. For example, water quality can be divided into raw water, hard water, soft water, purified water, pure water, concentrated water, and so on. What are these "waters"? What are the water purification equipment that produce it? What kind of household water purification equipment should I buy? Let's take water one by one below. The raw water does not directly point to a certain quality of water, but for water purification equipment, the raw water that has not been purified, such as the pre filter, refers to the water in the pipeline. But installing an end water purifier after the front water purifier, for the end water purifier, the raw water becomes purified water through the front filter - if there is no front water purifier installed and the end water purifier is installed directly, then for the end water purifier, the raw water is still water in the pipeline. Simply put, clean water is "clean water". If the sand and color in the water are not visible to the naked eye, it is considered clean. This is the most basic filtration and also the most fundamental function of all water purification equipment. The equipment specifically responsible for manufacturing water purification includes pre filters and small water purifiers installed on faucets. The water produced by other water purification equipment also belongs to the category of water purification, but their purification level is higher - the water they purify belongs to the category of water purification. We habitually refer to the equipment in the picture as a "water purifier" for pure water, but in fact, its scientific name is called a "pure water machine" (also known as a "terminal water purifier"). As the name suggests, it is a machine used to manufacture pure water. Pure water refers to water with no impurities other than water molecules. The cost of producing pure water is the highest, while also ensuring the safety of water. Therefore, pure water in our homes is usually only used to supply things at the entrance, such as drinking water, cooking, etc. Hard water and soft water are both terms in the field of water softeners - soft water and purified water are only mentioned when buying a water softener. Before passing through the water softener, water is hard water; After being filtered by a water softener, it becomes soft water. So for a water softener, hard water and raw water are the same thing. The softness and hardness of water are determined by the metal ions contained in it. Water containing metal ions will show obvious scale after heating. Even if it is not heated and sprinkled directly on the glass, water and alkali can still be seen; Using it to wash clothes can also make them harder. After being filtered by a water softener, the metal ions in the water will disappear, and hard water will become soft water. Soft water can be used to wash clothes, face, and water heaters (waterproof). But fish and flowers cannot be raised or watered - both require metal ions in water as nutrients. The definition of soft water is "water without metal ions", so pure water with no impurities other than water molecules naturally belongs to the category of soft water. At this point, all three types of purified water have emerged, and their subordinate relationship is: purified water>soft water>pure water - which in turn is the degree of purification and the difficulty of manufacturing. Concentrated water always comes with a certain cost in order to filter out substances that cannot be seen by the naked eye. At least a portion of good water needs to be discharged along with them - the discharged water is called concentrated water, which can be understood as wastewater. Both water softeners and water purifiers produce concentrated water during operation. We usually discharge concentrated water directly into the sewer.
