1. Bottom pressure cleaning

When RO stops using in the short or long term, it is necessary to take protective measures. Improper handling can cause a decrease in membrane characteristics and cannot be repaired. Short term storage is suitable for RO system software that has been shut down for less than 15 days. The RO equipment can be maintained by using a bottom pressure cleaning method every 1-3 days. In practical activities, it was found that when the temperature is around 20 ℃, the water stored in the RO equipment will emit a foul odor and mold, and many bacteria will breed.

3. Chemical treatment

Under all normal operating standards, the RO membrane of pure water equipment will also be contaminated by inorganic compound scale, colloidal solution, microbial strains, hydroxides and other environmental pollutants. These chemical substances accumulate on the surface of the membrane, causing a decrease in the load rate of the reverse osmosis device, a decrease in water conductivity, an increase in pressure difference, and even irreparable damage to the membrane. Therefore, in order to repair excellent permeability and desalination characteristics, chemical water treatment must be carried out on the membrane.

Generally, it should be cleaned once every 3 to 12 months. If it is necessary to clean it once a month, it indicates that the preparatory processing system software of RO should be improved and the main operating parameters of RO should be adjusted. If it is necessary to clean up once from January to March, the operating level of the machinery and equipment must be improved. It is difficult to distinguish whether it is necessary to improve the software of the preparatory processing system.
